A leopard spotted on the outskirts of Godugupally village in Doulthabad mandal on Monday was found dead the next day. Villagers said the animal appeared weak and immobile, while forest officials have ordered a post-mortem to ascertain the cause

The carcass of the leopard was found close to the Kollapur - Amaragiri road and soon after noticing it, local villagers informed the forest officials.
