A woman farmer, Mannemma, collapsed while waiting in a long queue for urea at Tileru PACS in Narayanpet on Thursday. She was rushed to hospital and is stable. Meanwhile, officials began applying indelible ink to farmers to curb repeat entries.

People made a beeline right from 6 am at supermarkets, medical shops, fruit bandis and pan shops for various groceries, medicines and cigarettes

Social distancing went for a toss as people queued up to get their stock for the week.
