A private travels bus hit a chemical tanker on the Macharam flyover near Jadcherla on Thursday, causing hydrochloride acid to spill. All 26 passengers escaped unharmed, though a few suffered minor injuries. Firefighters contained the situation and traffic on NH-44 was disrupted.
