A teacher at a government school in Koutala mandal allegedly assaulted a student for failing to read English alphabets. The child’s parents filed a complaint, and education officials have promised disciplinary action following an inquiry.
Collector Pamela Satpathy conducted a meeting with MEOs at her camp office here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, she wanted the officers to ensure that the students studying in government schools should not face any difficulties.
