An undertrial woman prisoner, Ghantasala Triveni (26), escaped from the Modern Maternity Hospital in Petlaburj on Monday afternoon while under Armed Reserve security. Police have registered a case at Hussaini Alam station and launched special teams to trace her.
MLA visited the Govt Maternity Hospital and noticed that the Hospital Superintendent Dr Rama Sarala Devi was not present at the hospital though she had 'signed' in the attendance register
