A woman outsourcing employee at the Medchal-Malkajgiri collectorate was arrested for cheating people on the pretext of arranging double bedroom flats. Identified as M Geetha, she took Rs. 2.5 lakh from a woman and failed to provide the promised flat
Following information from the collectorate authorities, the local police and bomb squad reached the complex and took up checking for the presence of any explosive substances.
Police said the women, identified as K Lakshmi, K Sulochana and K Sujatha, all sisters, came to the commissionerate and picked up an argument with the staff demanding the sanction of double bedroom houses.
