Woman employee arrested in Medchal for Rs. 2.5 lakh housing fraud

A woman outsourcing employee at the Medchal-Malkajgiri collectorate was arrested for cheating people on the pretext of arranging double bedroom flats. Identified as M Geetha, she took Rs. 2.5 lakh from a woman and failed to provide the promised flat

Hyderabad: A woman outsourcing employee of the Medchal collectorate was arrested by the police for cheating people by taking money on the pretext of arranging double bedroom flats.

M Geetha, who works at the Medchal-Malkajgiri collectorate, allegedly took Rs. 2.5 lakh from a woman, promising to arrange a double bedroom flat. After failing to provide the flat or return the money, the victim approached the police.


A case was registered and Geetha was arrested. She was later sent to judicial remand.
