The Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (MRDCL) has issued a notification inviting property owners in flood-prone and buffer zones to voluntarily surrender their lands in exchange for Transferable Development Rights (TDR).
The Telangana government has secured Rs 4,100 crore funding from the Asian Development Bank for the Musi Rejuvenation Project and has sought an additional Rs 3,188 crore from the Ministry of Jal Shakti under the National River Conservation Plan.
