A lorry carrying urea meant for farmers in Nalgonda’s Miryalaguda constituency was allegedly hijacked and sold in the black market. Police suspect the involvement of MLA Bathula Laxma Reddy’s gunman, who impersonated the legislator’s aide to pressure officials.
People should have confidence in friendly policing and officials should follow protocol. An appeal was made to the Speaker to ensure such incidents do not recur.
