The veteran of 96 Test matches is expected to play a key role for Australia in the upcoming four Tests against India, starting with the Day-Night game in Adelaide from December 17.
"All-rounder Moises Henriques has been added to Australia's squad for the first Vodafone Test against India after the hosts' camp continues to be hit with injury," a report said.
India and Australia are slated to lock horns in the four-match Test series, beginning December 17. The first Test would be played at Adelaide Oval and the match would be contested under lights.
