BRS leader Nadipelli Vijith Rao accused Mancherial MLA Premsagar Rao of financial irregularities in development works and alleged a Rs 500 crore scam linked to a proposed industrial park at Vempalli village. He said the party would lodge a complaint with higher authorities.

Diwakar Rao claimed that while citizens across the country were paying Goods and Services Tax (GST), residents of the Mancherial Assembly segment were being forced to pay "Premsagar Tax" (PST). He accused Premsagar Rao of misusing his official position and deploying his associates to extort bribes from various sections of society, including traders, employees, and realtors.
