The GHMC repaired 105 potholes and cleared over 170 metric tonnes of waste in Hyderabad on the second day of its special monsoon drive. The civic body also installed bins at shops, pruned tree branches, and conducted awareness programmes in schools.
The GHMC will launch a 10-day monsoon drive from August 11 to 21 across Hyderabad’s 150 wards, focusing on clearing legacy waste, desilting drains, repairing potholes, installing rainwater harvesting systems, and conducting anti-larval operations to curb dengue.
