Speaking on the second day of the first Kamma Global Federation (KGF) summit here, the former Karnataka Minister appreciated the efforts being put in by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for Amaravati’s development.
Addressing a press conference here, Niranjan said the people of Telangana were not happy with the welcome and honours extended to Chandrababu Naidu last week in Hyderabad.
The meeting is being viewed as an occasion laden with significance as it aims to resolving long-standing issues pertaining to the State reorganisation Act, 2014.
He wanted the two governments to uphold the rights given to the people of the two backward regions by the constitution and help quench the thirst of the people.
Addressing partymen and functionaries who thronged his Erravelli residence in large numbers from Medchal, Mahabubabad and Nalgonda districts, he said the party would surge ahead, fighting for the interests of the people and winning their hearts.
