Leonardo DiCaprio revealed that he was once told to change his name to “Lenny Williams” because his real name was considered “too ethnic” for Hollywood. The actor said his father rejected the idea, urging him to keep his original name.
The Commission had issued a notification on January 3 for change of names and addition of synonyms in respect of eight castes. Accordingly, 15 days was allotted for receipt of objections and the deadline ended on Saturday
