Irrigation officials in Karimnagar have commenced lifting Godavari water through the Nandi pump house, part of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. Two motors have been activated to release water into the canal.

About 15,600 cusecs of water was being discharged from Nandi Pump House with five of its seven pumping units in operation since Saturday night.
