Torrential rains in Mahabubnagar and Jadcherla caused flooding, road damage, and traffic disruptions on NH-44. A private bus carrying Amara Raja Batteries employees narrowly escaped a mishap after a road cave-in, while irrigation officials opened Koil Sagar project gates to release water.
While explaining the accident, Tejashwi Yadav said that his convoy had taken a halt at a roadside eatery to have tea when a speeding truck suddenly hit one of the vehicles from the rear, causing chaos at the scene
Police said that two friends were travelling in the car and all of a sudden, the vehicle started to develop technical snag and smoke started emanating.
The incident happened as Kamal Nath, who is also the state party chief, and other Congress leaders were in the DNS Hospital to visit ailing party leader Rameshwar Patel.
