The SFI Telangana committee has urged the State government not to implement NEP 2020, claiming it favours corporate interests. The student body demanded an alternative policy, timely scholarships, fee reimbursements, and improved hostel and mess facilities for students.
NIT Warangal has inaugurated a dedicated Centre for Mental Health and Wellness to promote emotional well-being among students and faculty. Coinciding with its 67th Foundation Day, the Centre collaborates with Heartfulness Institute and Art of Living Foundation to offer counselling, meditation, and life skills workshops.
