BRS leader P Karthik Reddy clarified that the National Green Tribunal only disposed of his petition on the Musi River Rejuvenation project. He said the government assured the tribunal that no work would proceed without securing required environmental clearances.

"The STPs at Rithala, Kondli, Coronation Pillar and Okhla with a total capacity of 279 million gallons a day are under rehabilitation/upgradation and likely to be completed by June 2023," the Delhi government said in the affidavit.
