To mark World Egg Day 2025, Poultry India, IPEMA and NECC hosted an awareness event highlighting the nutritional value of eggs and the need to address India’s protein deficiency. Experts noted that India, despite being the second-largest egg producer globally, consumes far fewer eggs per capita than the global average.
The celebrations were focused at drawing attention to the nutritional benefits of eggs and encouraging greater egg consumption for a healthy lifestyle.
