Harish Rao distributes tea stall equipment worth Rs 72 lakh to 91 beneficiaries in Siddipet

Former Minister T. Harish Rao distributed tea stall equipment to 91 beneficiaries across five rural mandals in Siddipet with support from the National Egg Coordination Committee. The initiative aims to strengthen the livelihoods of small vendors by helping them run their businesses more efficiently.

Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao distributed Rs 80,000 worth equipment to 91 tea stall owners across five rural mandals in his constituency on Sunday. With a support of National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC), Harish Rao distributed the material to help the tea stall owners run their business in a smooth way.

Since he found several of them running the tea stalls on pushcarts, and on roadside footpaths due to lack of financial support, Rao decided to extend support to them. The material included a tea stall stand, gas stove, cylinder, LED lights, fan, water bottles, glasses, kettle and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that operating a tea stall would help them to run a family. In a bid to do his bit, Rao said he decided to support them by distributing the equipment.

The total worth of the equipment distributed to 91 persons was put at Rs 72 lakh. The tea stall owners thanked Harish Rao and NECC for their gesture.
