Prominent realtor and Home Land chairman Ram Reddy allegedly died by suicide at his farmhouse in Kandukur on Thursday. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, while reports that pressure from certain political leaders may have contributed remain unconfirmed.
According to police, Nisani Thirupati, a car driver by profession, along with other villagers was trying for compensation for lands acquired for the construction of Lower Manair Dam.
