Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath backed the introduction of MDR on P2M UPI payments, saying it could increase competition in the ecosystem. However, he flagged concerns for brokers, who could incur charges on repeated client fund transfers without generating corresponding revenue.
Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath urged people to seek immediate medical help during a stroke, stressing the importance of the 4.5-hour ‘Golden Hour’. Sharing his personal experience on World Stroke Day, he highlighted the rising incidence among people under 50.

Kamath, who co-founded Zerodha with his younger brother Nikhil in 2010, also posted a video from 2018, featuring his son singing the Indian national anthem, Jana Gana Mana, while Kamath played the guitar.
