The Godavari Hostel inmates alleged that they were served watery matar curry, along with undercooked chapatis, for breakfast on Tuesday. The protesters brought a large vessel, with curry and chapatis, onto the main road in front of Arts College, raising slogans against mess workers

On Saturday, a large number of students from the University squatted at the Arts College, demanding the circular's withdrawal.
