Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha inaugurated 34 day care cancer centres across Telangana and announced the rollout of mobile screening vehicles to improve early diagnosis. The centres will offer screening, diagnosis, chemotherapy, and palliative care, with plans to establish regional cancer hubs in all 10 erstwhile districts.
The facilities ensure that patients with end-stage diseases receive much-needed relief from symptoms, pain and suffering, and are able to lead a better life.
