Officials have been directed to observe one day as Power Day during the Palle Pragathi programme

"The State has several awards and praises for the performance of Panchayat Raj department. However, we request the Centre to allocate more funds for development of villages in the State," Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao appealed.
