Nirmal district recorded 4,162 crimes in 2025, with police crediting sustained efforts and public support for keeping offences under control. Superintendent of Police Dr G Janaki Sharmila highlighted crime figures, road accidents, cyber fraud cases and the success of the ‘Police Akka’ initiative.
