Debut director Keerthiswaran released the first single Oorum Blood from Pradeep Ranganathan’s upcoming film Dude. The pan-Indian project, co-starring Mamitha Baiju and Sarath Kumar, will release this Deepavali in five languages.

While some began streaming on Thursday, March 20, others are premiering on Friday, March 21, making for a movie-packed weekend.

Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film received positive reviews from the audience as well as critics.

‘Dragon’, which released to positive reviews, was a sure shot success even before it released as the film had already recovered the amount that was invested in it just from non-theatrical business.

His statement has sparked curiosity and debate, with many questioning the reason behind his remark.

Talking to IANS, Ashwath Marimuthu said, “We made this film on a budge of Rs 37 crores. Already, we have got back that amount from the satellite, OTT rights and other rights that have already been sold. We have got all bases covered.”
