Maize farmers in Nagarkurnool’s Tadoor PACS were forced to sleep at the office due to delays in gunny bag supply and procurement. Alleging irregularities and middlemen involvement, farmers demanded immediate action and smoother procurement operations from officials.
Three farmers were assaulted by a police constable while waiting in line for urea at a distribution centre in Peddavoora, Nalgonda. Eyewitnesses said the confrontation arose over delays in distribution. A police inquiry has been initiated.
