Nayanthara has joined the cast of Rajinikanth-starrer Dharman. Director Ashwath Marimuthu welcomed the actress through a social media post after the makers teased a major cast addition. The film has already completed its third shooting schedule and also features Raashii Khanna in a key role.
The makers of director Ashwath Marimuthu’s action entertainer Dharman, starring Rajinikanth, announced that the film’s second shooting schedule has been wrapped up. Produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, the update was shared with a video clip showing Rajinikanth as a senior medical faculty.
The story of Amaran was a biopic. It was based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was awarded the Ashok Chakra, the country’s highest gallantry award, for his supreme sacrifice while fighting militants in Jammu and Kashmir. Major Mukund Varadarajan was in command of the Cheetah company of the 44th Rashtriya Rifles of the Indian Army when he made the supreme sacrifice.
