Frequent monkey attacks have become a major concern for residents of Mancherial town, with aggressive animals roaming colonies, parks and temples in search of food and water. The municipal corporation plans to allocate funds to hire catchers to trap the monkeys
The Mancherial Municipal Corporation is facing multiple civic challenges, contrary to claims by local MLA K. Premsagar Rao. Waste from the town continues to be dumped near Andalamma colony due to the absence of a proper yard.
When asked, Mancherial mandal Irrigation Assistant Executive Engineer K Goutham said efforts were being made to protect the lands of the tanks in the district headquarters.
