Kondaiah, a retired government school teacher from Mahabubnagar, spent his final days battling a lung infection and mounting hospital bills while waiting for his retirement benefits. Despite repeated appeals, the funds were released only after media intervention, just a day before his death. His family believes timely support could have saved him.
To help the students excel in studies and purchase sports equipment, he has decided to donate Rs 1 lakh to school in the name of his recently died wife Ahalya.
