This announcement comes on the heels of Ola's Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to invest nearly Rs 2,400 crore towards building this facility.
The Bengaluru-headquartered company said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government for setting up the factory which is in line with the firm's aim to make India a manufacturing hub for electric vehicles.
The move, which comes even as stay-at-home orders and social distancing continue during the holiday season, is expected to help people find ways to connect and share the giving spirit with their loved ones.
