MLC Addanki Dayakar being seated in the second row at Praja Palana Dinostavam celebrations in Hyderabad drew criticism from the BRS. BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank questioned the Congress government’s commitment towards the Dalit community over the seating arrangement.
BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan accused Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy of misusing his position and alleged links to stone-crusher and real-estate mafias. He also questioned Congress’ action against Konda Surekha and sought accountability over allegations involving Revanth Reddy’s aides.
BRS leader Dr RS Praveen Kumar accused the Congress government of political vendetta after former minister T Harish Rao was served notices for questioning corruption and irregularities. Kumar demanded SIT probes into alleged scams by Srujan Reddy and Rohith Reddy, as well as the deaths of students in residential schools.
BRS leaders have filed a police complaint against Congress leader Rohin Reddy and former OSD N Sumanth for allegedly threatening Deccan Cements representatives at gunpoint. The complaint cites extortion and intimidation and demands FIR registration and an impartial investigation.
