He stated that the State government is committed to cracking down on the sale of counterfeit seeds and fake pesticides. Police raids in Vikarabad, Gadwal, Rachakonda, Warangal, and Ramagundam have resulted in the seizure of large quantities of spurious seeds and illegally manufactured pesticides and insecticides. “No one will be spared if they attempt to sell fake seeds,” warned DGP Dr. Jitender.
Premender said that the State government utterly failed to keep the seed required for farmers. He said farmers were struggling to buy the seed due to the government’s lack of preparedness.
