Former Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran has accused the Congress government and contractors of failing to expedite repair works at the Singur dam and canals. He alleged poor coordination, substandard materials, and delays have led to wastage of water.
Farmers in Andole constituency repaired breaches to the Singur canal at their own expense after officials failed to act despite ministerial directions. Former MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran criticised the government for neglecting public issues and praised farmers for their initiative.
