The Democratic Teachers Federation urged the Telangana government to strengthen SCERT as a research-driven academic institution. It sought departmental restructuring, compulsory field engagement for faculty, and immediate recruitment to address faculty shortages in teacher education institutions.
Adult Education is aimed at focusing on the basic literacy component among the women, members of SCs, STs, minorities and other disadvantaged groups in the ‘aspirational districts’.
