Heavy rains and floods continue to devastate Telangana, with multiple deaths, missing persons, submerged colonies, and damaged roads and railway tracks. Over 1,400 people have been rescued, while the Army, SDRF, and NDRF assist in ongoing relief operations
BRS leader KT Rama Rao criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his Cabinet for prioritising electioneering in Bihar over flood relief in Telangana. He accused Congress leaders of appeasing their high command while ignoring critical issues such as farmer distress, employment vacancies, and flood rescue operations.
The rescued were identified as Nagaraju (28), a resident of Pythara village, Dugraprasad (25) of Janakampally, Sridhar (32) of Medak town, Komuraiah of Hyderabad and Mahesh of Kistapur (32).
