Telangana police marathoner Pilli Raju has emerged as a symbol of pride and inspiration by successfully participating in major marathons across India, including the Tata Mumbai Marathon, Vedanta Half Marathon in Delhi, and Tata World Marathon in Kolkata.
Raju, a native of Kostala village in Wyra mandal, secured the constable job in sports quota in 2009. His sports portfolio includes Kabaddi, Judo and Wrestling and he has represented the police department in annual national and state events and won over 40 medals
