Telangana cop Raju Pilli sets national benchmark with fourth Procam Slam
Khammam armed reserve constable Raju Pilli has completed his fourth Procam Slam, cementing his place among India’s elite endurance runners. Representing the Telangana Police, he successfully finished all four World Athletics Gold Label races, earning admiration for his discipline and fitness.

Khammam: An armed reserve constable of Khammam, Raju Pilli, has etched his name among India’s elite endurance athletes by successfully completing his fourth Procam Slam.
He secured a place among the nation’s leading long-distance runners with an impressive record of four Procam Slam medals and 16 major event medals. The Procam Slam is considered the ultimate ‘Grand Slam’ of Indian distance running.
To achieve this milestone, athletes must complete four of India’s most challenging World Athletics Gold Label races within a single cycle. He represented Telangana police at major national running events, inspiring others through fitness, discipline and determination.
Raju Pilli successfully completed the following prestigious international-level races- Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (21.097 km), Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata (25 km), Tata Mumbai Marathon (42.195 km) and recently TCS World 10K Bengaluru (10 km)
He said that completing the Procam Slam for the fourth time is the realisation of a long-cherished dream. This journey tested both his physical endurance and mental strength. Every step was a reminder that discipline in service and passion for fitness could go hand in hand. It is not only a personal victory but also a tribute to the spirit of Telangana police.
Raju Pilli expressed heartfelt gratitude to his family and the Telangana Police Department for their continuous encouragement and support. He especially thanked Commissioner of Police Sunil Dutt, Addl. DCP Kumaraswamy, MTO Srisailam and RI (Admin) Kamaraju for their support in his journey.
He also acknowledged the Hyderabad running community and the TR Group for their constant motivation. A special note of gratitude was extended to Tirupathi Reddy, whose guidance and encouragement introduced him to the world of running and transformed his life through fitness.
