Telangana DGP Shivadhar Reddy said legal opinion has been sought on a request to take action against BJP MP Tejaswi Surya over his remarks comparing Telangana’s formation with Pakistan’s separation from India. The issue was raised after a minister’s complaint.

Sources said the BJYM leaders have asked the party leadership to give priority to them while allocating assembly tickets. It is learnt that Bhanu Prakash is keen to contest from Malkajgiri and BJYM vice president Sridhar has plans to contest from Rajendranagar.
