With new admission rules coming into effect from this year, students from Andhra Pradesh and other States even after topping the entrance exams will not get an admission to engineering and other professional colleges in Telangana
The amount will be refunded if an expert committee constituted to look into the challenges' approve a student's objections. The move is aimed at curbing non-serious candidates registering a large number of objections on the preliminary answer key
The Technical Education department rescheduled the admissions as some engineering colleges are yet to receive extension of approval from the AICTE, which will declare approval to technical institutions by June 30.
