Medak MP M Raghunandan Rao received a second threat call from suspected Maoists, warning of a plan to assassinate him. The calls, reportedly made using internet services, come days after a similar threat was reported on June 23.
According to the police, on September 28 last year, MLA Satyam received a WhatsApp call from an unknown number demanding Rs.20 lakh. The caller also threatened to defame him and make his two children orphans if he did not pay up
