Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has been summoned by the Kakkanad Magistrate Court in an assault case filed by his former manager. The case follows allegations of physical and verbal abuse, with the actor scheduled to appear on October 27.

Unni admitted that he did meet Vipin, and that a viral video showing him throwing his glasses during the meeting was real.

On Thursday, Mukundan announced through social media that he has submitted an official complaint to the Honourable DGP and ADGP, seeking justice.
