A police constable in Siddipet’s Cheriyal rescued a woman who attempted suicide by jumping into Pedda Cheruvu on Wednesday. Constable Swamy leapt into the water after locals raised an alarm and managed to pull her out safely.
A woman in Navi Mumbai drove her Audi into a ditch near Dhruvtara Jetty after a wrong turn while following Google Maps. Police and a marine security team rescued her. The salon owner was heading to Ulwe from Belapur when the mishap occurred.
