Police rescue woman, two children attempting suicide at Narinja project in Zaheerabad
Zaheerabad police rescued a woman, Ammapuram Nagarani, and her two children from a possible suicide attempt at the Narinja project on Deepavali. After counselling, the family was safely handed over to relatives.
Sangareddy: The Zaheerabad rural police saved the life of a woman and her two children who allegedly came to the Narinja project intending to end their lives on Deepavali day, Monday.
The woman was identified as Ammapuram Nagarani, a resident of Burthipadu. Locals noticed her moving suspiciously near the project on Monday evening and immediately alerted the police.
Responding swiftly, the police reached the spot, rescued the woman and her children, and took them to the police station. After counselling Nagarani and her husband Santosh Reddy, the police handed the family over to their relatives.
