BITS Pilani’s Work Integrated Learning Programmes conferred degrees on a record 15,153 working professionals across 30 disciplines. The 2026 convocation in Hyderabad saw the graduating cohort double from last year, with learners from technology, engineering, medical, defence and international backgrounds
While about 1,000 graduates attended the convocation in person, more than 6,800 graduates participated virtually with the help of the revolutionary Metaverse technology, nearly 111 of them graduated from 26 other countries as well.
