Take back age enhancement decision, Headmaster urges KCR
Enugu Mallareddy, Headmaster of Namilikonda Primary School said unemployed youth, will face severe hardships with the State government’s decision to increase the retirement age.
Jagitial: While all the government employees and teachers in Telangana are celebrating the State government’s decision to enhance the retirement age from 58 to 61 years, one government teacher has opposed the decision.
Enugu Mallareddy, Headmaster of Namilikonda Primary School in Malyala mandal, told media here on Tuesday that the Statehood movement was based on water, funds and employment. While students played a vital role in the two decade long agitation, a number of youth sacrificed their lives for the cause of separate Statehood that was finally achieved, he said.
Mallareddy said unemployed youth, however, will face severe hardships with the State government’s decision to increase the retirement age.
“Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao should not implement this decision. If the retirement age is not increased, it will result in employment opportunities for the jobless youth in the State,” he said.
