Haddin mentioned that they recognised the issues following their last two losses and aim to achieve the best possible outcome in the final stages of the season.
Hyderabad: Punjab Kings assistant coach Brad Haddin said that the key in tomorrow’s game against Sunrisers Hyderabad would be to take early wickets. He said the mood was good in the team despite losing the last two games.
Haddin informed media that it would be an important game for them tomorrow and they want to get back to the winning ways.
Reflecting on whether the Kings are over dependent on openers Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya, Haddin said they would look the other way like the middle order getting enough time to bat out there in the middle.
“We have no concerned with any position in the batting order. Stoinis was outstanding and so was the debutant.. in whose case it was the number of runs he scored but the confident manner he got them,” Haddin said.
Reflecting on frontline left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, the Kings assistant coach rated him as a worldclass bowler and he knew that there would be some bad days in this tournament.”But, Arshdeep remains the best bowler at the back end of the tournament,” he said.
Haddin said they were aware of areas of concern after the last two losses and hope to get the perfect result in the business end of the seaso
