BRS leader and former Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav
Hyderabad: Stating that the proposed ethanol factory in Nirmal had nothing to do with his son and family, BRS leader and former Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav Yadav on Thursday challenged anyone to prove that the company was owned by his family.
He promised to transfer ownership of the unit if anyone could prove that the factory was owned by his son. He accused rival parties of attempting to tarnish the reputation of the BRS and demanded that the government address the concerns of the villagers in Dilawarpur on priority.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Srinivas Yadav stated that villagers were protesting against the ethanol factory and the government needed to provide answers to the public. He acknowledged that his son was one of the eight directors of a distillery company near Rajahmundry but had resigned from the position in 2016.
He accused the Congress leaders of spreading canards using outdated documents. Yadav pointed out that it was a year since Congress came to power, and the people of the State were facing difficulties. He urged the government to address these issues and provide clarity to the public.
