Hyderabad: Former Minister and BRS deputy floor leader Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday asked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to change his language and exercise restraint while speaking about political opponents. He said the Chief Minister was forgetting the dignity and decorum attached to his office and making abusive remarks against political opponents.

Addressing a press conference at his camp office in West Marredpally, Srinivas Yadav said Revanth Reddy was claiming credit for projects initiated by the previous BRS government, including the TIMS hospital at Sanathnagar. He reminded that the BRS government had taken up construction of TIMS hospitals at Sanathnagar, Alwal and LB Nagar, keeping future healthcare needs in mind after the difficulties faced during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Around 60 per cent of the works were completed during the BRS regime,” he added.

Questioning the hurried inauguration of the Sanathnagar TIMS without ensuring adequate facilities, the former Minister asked why BRS leaders were placed under house arrest when they sought to visit the hospital. He said the restrictions indicated the government’s fear of exposing deficiencies at the facility.

On the 22A land issue, Srinivas Yadav alleged that the provision was being misused to target private properties, especially those belonging to the poor and middle class. He questioned the government’s authority to include such properties in the prohibited list and alleged that commissions of 30 to 40 per cent were being collected for settlements.lements.
